WALL-FLOWERS

No, not wallflowers, though I guess they can be wall-flowers, but plants which thrive even when restricted to the scarcely-detectable soil supply in the gap between tarmac and a wall.

Pink Campion (a hybrid of Red Campion, Silene dioica and White Campion, Silene latifolia)



Red Dead-nettle (Lamium perpureum)



Ribwort Plantain (Plantago lanceolata)



Scarlet pimpernel (Anagallis arvensis)


Spreading Bellflower (Campanula patula)
